About
Here is a bit about me.
I have many roles in my life. I’m a wife and a Mum, blessed with a lovely husband and a beautiful son, a coach, an agent of change, a friend, a teacher, a student and a cook (when the fancy takes me!).
I take having fun very seriously. People often tell me I have a knack to find the positive in almost every situation and a contagious zest for life.
I believe love can change the world and so, I like to nurture and care. I want to contribute to creating a world of love and peace, one person at a time. From as far as I can remember I’ve always had this mission, helping people get their life back. I got a bit side-tracked, but I finally got reunited with my heart and my calling. I’m dedicated to helping kids with autism or any learning difficulties to live their life to the full and help their parents and loved ones to do the same.
I’ve worked with kids in a variety of settings. As a teenager, I was naturally roped into looking after the little ones from visiting friends and family, and I enjoyed it too. Later on, I volunteered in a children’s shelter in the Chicago area where I touched many lives and was touched by so many in return. I met my ‘everything is possible guide’ there. Her name is Mary and she is in my heart forever. Mary showed me the light and is a living proof you can shake the most ingrained preconceptions and rise up to your potential. Thanks Mary! I use this great gift in my daily life, as a coach, as an agent of change and as a Mum!
I’m passionate about the power of the mind and constantly amazed about the mind and body connection (see What this blog is all about). I’m an eternal learner and every day is a learning opportunity.
Now, a bit of credentials. I’m a certified NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Master Practitioner, a certified NLP coach and a certified Advanced Master Practitioner of Thought Pattern ManagementTM . I’m certified in Humanistic Neuro-Linguistic Psychology and in Ericksonian Hypnosis. I abide by the ethics of the International Coaching Federation.
I’m 2nd Dan in Ki-Aikido, a way to practice and develop mind and body coordination.
I believe there is a diamond longing to shine in everyone of us. I feel very honoured and blessed when I help someone show their diamond in all its purity and beauty.
With love,
Karine
